Enable fuel registration
Enable this setting to add departure fuel and fuel uplift fields in the flight tab of registrations.
Default departure fuel from total fuel
This setting will be possible when you activate the "Enable Fuel Registration" option.
When this setting is enabled, FlightLogger will automatically fill in the departure fuel, based on the current fuel level of the aircraft (the amount left from the previous flight).
The aircraft fuel is automatically calculated based on the fuel coefficient settings and the last flight registration for each aircraft. However, it is important for the registrant to always verify the actual fuel level of the aircraft before departure.
The fuel level can also be adjusted on the Edit aircraft page.
If this setting is not enabled, the registrant will need to manually enter the departure fuel.
Default departure from current airport
If enabled, FlightLogger will automatically select the current airport of the chosen aircraft as the departure airport.
However, it is important for the registrant to verify that it is correct. The current airport is set based on the last flight registration, but if there are any discrepancies, it can be adjusted on the Edit aircraft page.
Enable flag functionality on lessons
During a lesson registration, instructors have the ability to mark one or more exercises as failed by flagging them, as long as this option is enabled.
By flagging an exercise, FlightLogger automatically designates it as needing repetition. This means that FlightLogger will automatically create a duplicate lesson, including only the exercises that were flagged as needing repetition.
This lesson will be added chronologically in the lesson overview and your schedulers will be able to book this lesson.

Acknowledgement and authorization
This feature makes it easy for FlightLogger users to incorporate an acknowledgement and authorization workflow.
It gives dispatchers a handy way to gather those essential signatures on the Dep/Arr page before a flight takes off.
When you enable this option, you'll find four text fields ready for your personal touch. Feel free to tweak the text, modify how it looks, and even add links if you like!
And if you ever want to return to the original settings, you can easily reset everything to the FlightLogger default, by clicking Reset to default.
These are:
- Student text
You'll also find fields for:
- Instructor text
- Renter text
- Crew text
When you enable the "Acknowledgement and Authorization" feature, a "thumbs-up" icon will be displayed on the relevant user page, where the specific booking is indicated.
The user front page:
On the Dep/Arr board:
When the instructor clicks on the icon (on either of the two pages), he/she will be directed to the "INSTRUCTOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT" page in the Settings. Here, the instructor can review the terms and conditions set by your organization and provide digital authorization by clicking the Authorize button.
When the student clicks on the icon (on either of the two pages), he/she will be redirected to the "INSTRUCTOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT" page in the Settings. On this page, the student will have the opportunity to review the terms and conditions set by your organization and provide digital acknowledgement by clicking the Acknowledge button.
After a user has given their authorization/acknowledgement to the terms and conditions, the "thumbs-up" icon will change to green.
The Dep/Arr board will also show that all parties involved have given their authorization/acknowledgement.
Anyone with the role of Dispatcher can access the History section of the Dep/Arr board to obtain a comprehensive overview of which bookings have been authorized/acknowledged and which ones have not.
Users can be required to authorize or acknowledge their bookings by preventing them from entering any flight registrations if the authorization is not provided.
To accomplish this, navigate to Administration - Account Settings - General Settings - Registration. Then, simply enable the option for blocking flight registrations and select the option to Block if authorization is missing.
Another option available in the Acknowledgement and Authorization section is the ability to enable a warning popup when dispatching.
This feature is designed to provide dispatchers with a quick notification if a user has not authorized or acknowledged the terms set by your organization.
Additionally, when activating the warning popup, you will have the ability to prevent any dispatch if the necessary criteria are not met.
Enabling any of these options will restrict the dispatch process. As a result, the "Continue" button will become inactive and gradually fade to a lighter green color.
