This article introduces aircraft price lists and guides you through the processes of creating and assigning them to multiple aircraft. Note that this is only available with the User Balance Module.
Create price lists for efficient aircraft pricing configuration
This feature allows you to create standard price lists and easily apply them across multiple aircraft. This means you only need to establish your pricing structure once, rather than updating each aircraft individually.
How to create a new aircraft price list
Navigate to Administration -> Aircraft and click the new Price lists button.
This takes you to the Price lists page where you can see all your price lists. Click the button to create a new price list.
Give the new price list a name and click Create Price list.
From this point, you will follow the same principles for setting up a price list as you would for establishing pricing on an aircraft, including any advanced pricing options if applicable. Once completed, your price list will be ready for application.
How to apply a price list to aircraft
From the same page, click on the Aircraft tab. Select the aircraft to which you wish to apply the price list, then click Apply Price List and confirm the modal text that appears.
The price list will now be applied to the selected aircraft. An overview will display when the price list was applied for each aircraft and by which admin user.
- When applying price lists, any existing prices on the aircraft will be overwritten. If a specific program does not have a specified price, any previously applied prices will remain.
- If multiple price lists are applied to the same aircraft with conflicting prices, the pricing from the most recently applied price list will take precedence.
- Changes made to a price list after it has been applied to an aircraft will not be reflected on that aircraft. You will need to reapply the price list after making any changes.
The feature is great for efficiently updating your aircraft prices, which we know that many of you plan to do around New Year. We hope you like it.
