Ground Training Programs

Duration registration on progress tests, theory releases, exams, and type questionnaires

When registering one of the above-mentioned ground training types, start and end time of the session should be logged in the registration

The same way, student attendance is logged as either:

  • Attended
  • Didn't attend
  • Attended partially

The times logged automatically go into relevant reports, for example, the activity page, income, and expense reports, the raw data theory report, and the student report generator.

Defining whether duration should be included in ground training progression

Some academies prefer to include the duration of progress tests, theory releases, exams, and type questionnaires in some of their ground training programs, while other academies don't.

That's why in FlightLogger you can set this per individual ground training program.

In case the duration of all (or some of) these ground training types should be included in the overall ground training program progression, you must enable it on the specific program. Here's how:

Go to Administration -> Programs

Click the ground training program (those in green text) and then click the pencil icon next to the revision that you wish to edit. From here, select the ground training ypes that should be included in the progression and click Save revision.

Effect of including duration of ground training types in progression

After you have enabled the ground training types, registered sessions from the selected types are displayed in the overall progress section of your students/classes.

Also, the duration of the enabled ground training types is included in both the subject total and the overall total, including the attendance percentages and the progression bar.
