Getting started with the User Balance Module

The User Balance Module (UBM) gives the functionality to set aircrafts prices. Prices on each aircraft can be defined per education program you offer and can run on either block or airborne time. Via the advanced pricing features, prices can be further customized depending on the type of flight (VFR/IFR, SOLO/DUAL/SPIC). 

Every time an instructor registers a lesson, FlightLogger will automatically create a “transaction line” on the students accounting by using the price set on the aircraft/program. When the student pays money to your account or buys something from you (theory course etc.) an administrator can insert transaction lines as well (transaction types can be predefined by admin to make this easier).

This way there is always a 1:1 similarity between your student folders and the students accounting.

Customers using the User Balance Module will also find a feature allowing them to add an overall "credit limit" to their account. The credit limit will affect the money icon (booking page) and balances (UBM reports) which will give warnings in yellow color when a user account balance is below the credit limit.

The credit limit can be found under Administration -> Account settings -> Add-ons -> User Balance Module.
