Limiting what data guest users have access to
In FlightLogger you have an option to provide limited access to Guest users, typically an airline or a sponsor of one or more students.
Guest users are limited to only seeing information on students that you specifically allow access to.
Apart from managing which students a guest user can see, you can also specify which data should be visible on those students.
The limitations are set on the quest user's page. From here, click Settings -> Edit info
Scroll down to the section named Guest access settings.
Here you can set which specific data the guest user should be allowed to see on all the selected students. Basic info, user references, user notes, user activity, and user emergency contact corresponds with the 5 tabs on the user profile (see below). Disabling access to these will simply remove the tabs/info.
Set what users the guest can view
To define what students a guest user can view, go to Settings -> Guest user access.
From here you can set what users the guest user gets access to this can be based on:
- Specific users
- Classes
- Students on a specific program
- User groups
