Dear administrators, It's time for our 9th free major update this year!
On Wednesday the 14th of December at 07:00 UTC we will be releasing this year's last major update on all FlightLogger accounts. We do not expect any downtime for this update, so please just continue your operation while we update your systems.
The main focus of the update we release in a couple of days is the student overview. We have created a quick introduction video going through the most important news. Take a look at it here:

New, improved Students page
Many clients have asked us for more options when it comes to getting an overview of students, so that's what we have focused on with this update.
Progress tracking view added to the Students page
First of all we have added the progress overview to the two existing student viewing options, so you now have these options:
- Picture view
- List view
- Progress view (NEW)
The progress view is similar to the one available from the booking page, and it allows to to track the progress of each student within a program or class.

Filter students by program, class, and program assignment date
Each view can now be filtered both by programs and by classes, which we know many of you have missed until now. This can be done via the filter, where we have now also added an option to only show the students that were assigned to a program within a certain date range.
Direct link to Class/Program pages
The current Class page has been moved to the Administration menu, where it naturally belongs and where programs are also found.
As an administrator you can quickly navigate to a specific class or a program simply by clicking the class/program name in the student overview.
Create classes from student page
To make it easy for administrators to create new classes, this can now be done both from the Class page or directly from the Students page. Just click the Create button and select Class.
New search function on all user pages
The new update also adds a new search option allowing you to search on students only from the Students page (only on picture and list views). Similar search functionality has been added to all the other user pages.
Note that you still have the old global search function, which is found next to the filter button.
Paving the way for big projects in 2023
Besides fulfilling a lot of client requests, the changes we introduce with this update also serve as some initial steps to prepare one of the major development projects that we are working on for 2023 around - namely a brand-new theory setup.
We can't wait to share more with you on this, but for now just know that it's coming!
Minor improvements and bug fixes
