FlightLogger's booking page is designed to give you a complete overview of your scheduled operations.
We use a mix of colors for easily providing you with the most important information. This article explains the meaning of the colors displayed on the booking page.
Meaning of the color of bookings
Each type of booking has its own color to make it easier to identify your scheduled activities. Below you can see what each color represents.
Aircraft/simulator bookings:
Single and Multi-student lesson flight booking
Operation flight booking (all kinds)
Rental flight booking.
Maintenance booking
Classroom/briefingroom bookings:
Theory booking (class theory and extra theory)
Test booking (progress test, exam, type questionnaire and theory release)
Meeting booking
Note that when a booking is registered as completed, the color of the booking becomes a little bit lighter.
Custom booking colors
FlightLogger allows you to change the color of any open booking, in case you wish to highlight certain bookings or simply use your own booking colouring principles.
To change the color of a booking simply click the coloured square on the booking from when either creating or editing a booking.
This opens up a color selector where you can set your preferred colour by using the colour wheel or inserting a hex color code.
Your most recently used colours are automatically saved for one-click selection, and you can revert to the default colour by clicking the icon.
Color outlines indicating live status of aircraft/simulator bookings
Additionally, flight bookings can have pulsating colored outline. This indicates a registered live status of the booked flight. Also, the cell displaying the aircraft changes color accordingly.
- A blue outline indicates the booking is in flight without any warnings.
- A yellow outline indicates the booking is in flight and there is an ETA warning on it.
- A red outline indicates the booking is in flight and there is a fuel warning on it.
