The settings found in the Booking section are all related to how you want FlightLogger's booking tool to look and work on your organization's account.
Booking zoom
Set the booking zoom slider to define the default time span shown on the booking page.
The time span can always be manually adjusted directly from the booking page by each user, and it can be reverted to the selected default timeframe via the button next to the slider.
Milliseconds before hover effect activates
When hovering on a booking you get to see the most important booking details. This setting controls how long time your users must hover before the booking details appear. (1000 milliseconds equals 1 second).

Select which booking type should be set as default when creating new classroom bookings.
Allow registrations without a booking
If enabled, your instructors can proceed a lesson or operation even though there has not been created a booking for it.
Show booking selector popup when proceeding without booking
(Only selectable when above setting is enabled)
If enabled, when proceeding a lesson without a booking, FlightLogger displays an overview of all bookings made on the student, and allows the instructor to select a booking or continue without a booking.
Enable blocking of flight bookings
When this is enabled flight bookings cannot be created in case there is a warning on the any of the selected users or aircraft. See this article for more info.
Enable blocking of theory bookings
When this is enabled theory bookings cannot be created in case there is a warning on the any of the selected users. See this article for more info.
Allow document attachments on booking
This setting controls whether it should be possible to attach documents when creating a booking via the field shown below.
Default value for "Notify via email"
The booking form includes a toggle to control whether the booked users should automatically receive email notifications about the booking. This setting controls the default value of this setting when creating a new booking.
Enable availability warnings when creating bookings
If enabled, FlightLogger prompts a warning in case any of the booked users are marked as unavailable at the booked time. Note that you are still able to create the booking.
Display departure and arrival airport when creating bookings
This setting controls whether or not departure and arrival airport fields are displayed on the booking form.
Display twilight and night indicators on booking pages
When enabled you will be asked to pick the an airport of which the location is used to calculate and display twilight and night time on the Booking pages.
Enable fixed twilight duration
This can be used to set a fixed twilight duration in case you CAA are using this standard.
User name formatting
The four settings in this area are used to define the formatting of user names on:
- Booking page user dropdown: The user dropdown used in the create/edit booking form
- Booking page hover dropdown: The information shown when hovering a booking
- Booking page popup window: The booking popup you see when clicking a booking when the booking page is in locked/view mode
- Frontpage booking: The My bookings overview on users' front page
Booking visibility
(This section is only visible on some accounts)
If this section is shown on your account, you can use it to define for how long time the various booking types should be displayed on the responsible users' front page if they have not been cancelled or completed. Note that users can still find their bookings missing completion via the Activities page.
If this section is not visible on your account the default setting of 48 hours is set on all booking types.
