Attaching AirNav RadarBox flight tracks to lesson, operation, or rental flights
The AirNav RadarBox integration automatically fetches and attaches flight tracks from RadarBox and stores them on your FlightLogger account.
With the RadarBox flight tracking feature FlightLogger automatically attaches flight tracks to your flight registrations based on the flight times that you log.
When one or more flight tracks have been attached to a lesson flight, instructors, PICs, and students can see and download the attached flight track(s) from the Flight tab.
How flight tracks are attached to a flight registration
Provided you have enabled the RadarBox integration and connected your aircraft as described in this article, flight tracks are automatically fetched and attached to a flight depending on the flight times that are logged on the flight registration.
In the Flight tab, FlightLogger automatically displays the attached flight tracks that correspond to the registered flight times.
If no flights are found, try widening the time span via the date-and-time pickers to broaden your search and then click the Manual Search button.
Clicking View track opens a new browser tab displaying the flight track in AirNav RadarBox. You can also download the track as a KML file, which can be opened in for example Google Earth as described in this article.
Manually attaching another flight track to a registration
If you need to detach an attached flight track, simply click the Detach button.
Once you have identified the correct flight track using the search menu, simply click the Attach button to attach it to your flight.
Once a flight track is attached to the flight, it is marked with a green color gradient.
