Creating Flight Times related requirements

Creating flight time requirements allows you to set and monitor defined flight time limits for users in your account. By assigning these requirements to specific users or user groups, you gain a clearer overview of potential out of compliance situations and can follow limits more efficiently. This supports structured monitoring of flight time and reduces the need for manual tracking.

Permission

To create a user related requirement, you must have the user role of Administrator

Start by entering a Name for the requirement.

Then decide whether simulator hours and rental hours should be included

*Note: If simulator hours and rental hours are not selected, those hours will not be included in the calculation, even if the requirement is attached to a student on a simulator program or to a renter. The limitation will only count towards hours that are relevant/flown o a training program or operation. When simulator hours are selected, all registered simulator time will be included in the limitation calculation. The same applies to rental hours.

Next, you must define whether the limit applies to a maximum or minimum number of hours, flights, or landings within a specific time period.

The time period can be set as consecutive or calendar based, and defined in years, months, weeks, or days.

Once configured, the system will trigger a warning when the defined limit is reached. By default, this warning is shown in red. The color can be changed by selecting it and adjusting it in the color configuration window.

The default warning is set at 1. You can adjust this value manually and add one or more earlier warning thresholds. Multiple warning levels can be configured, depending on how early you want to be notified.

The warning color can be changed by selecting the color field.

If you want to remove a warning, you can delete it using the delete option next to the specific entry.

When you have completed the setup, remember to select Create requirement to save the configuration.
