Departure/Arrival
This section contains the settings that control how information is displayed on your organization’s Departure/Arrival page.
Amount of hours ahead bookings should be displayed in the departure area
You can choose how far in advance bookings should appear in the Departure area. By default, bookings are displayed 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Departure/Arrival duration format
This setting determines the time duration format displayed in the History section of the Departure/Arrival page.
For example: Hours Minutes
For example: Decimal
Display comments in Departure/Arrival - dispatcher can still see if unchecked
To access the Departure/Arrival board, users must be granted permission by an Administrator via the Permissions settings.
Note: In the example below, this permission was granted through the user's personal permissions settings.
Enabling the option Display comments in Departure/Arrival will add a Comments column to the board.
This column will display any notes entered by dispatchers.
Note: Even if this option is not enabled, FlightLogger will still display the Comments column for users who have been assigned the Dispatcher role. This role-based access is also managed under the Permissions section.
Departure comments default to booking comment
Enabling this option will ensure that any comments added during the booking process are also displayed in the Comments field on the Departure/Arrival board.
Control Departure/Arrival's status from the booking page (Dispatchers only)
By enabling this feature, dispatchers can directly manage the Departure/Arrival status from the booking page.
The user must, apart from having Dispatcher rights, also have the rights to create Bookings to access this functionality.
Note: In the example below, this permission was granted through the user's personal permissions settings.
