Dear new administrator, To get a good grip of the different user roles, please read through the following article: User definitions/roles To get started with the different admin tasks, I suggest you have a look at the below videos.
Billing and invoicing:
Invoice is sent at the beginning of each month and automatically withdrawn from your credit card on the 10th of each month. You can find a full invoice history under administration -> account settings -> automatic payment
How to set up your resources:
You control all your resources under the administration tab, each resource can either be active or deactivated - once created it cannot be deleted
How to manage student flight training
Credited hours are used if a student has flown any hours on a program outside of FlightLogger and the student needs to be credited for those hours toward the program that he or she is on. Fly Custom lesson is used mostly by instructors at the time of a booking commencing if the instructor decides that they should fly something outside of the syllabus. The add extra lesson is mostly used by head of training and/or chief flight instructor if they deem it necessary that the student requires extra lessons - those lessons can then later be booked like the regular syllabus lessons.
How to manage training programs:
The master exercise list and in general the training programs are mostly controlled by either the HOT and/or CFI. You will need to be listed in the administration -> account settings -> Master exercise list for you to access the master exercise list under each program.
Maintenance and certificates:
In order to manage either the certificates or the maintenance on the aircraft, you will need to be assigned the additional role under your user settings.
