First of all, Happy New Year to all of you. Data Backup Module and DropBox Integration now possible in FlightLogger
What is the Data Backup Module?
The Data Backup Module (DBM) replaces our Dropbox Integration Module (DIM) (all accounts currently using the DIM module will automatically be transferred to the DBM).
With DBM, you get all the same options for setting up automated data backup of your FlightLogger data to your local file storage as you had with DIM. The only difference is that DBM supports data backup via Dropbox (just like DIM), but with Microsoft OneDrive as well.
The Data Backup Module enables daily data backup via Dropbox, OneDrive (Personal) or OneDrive (Business).
To enable data backup on your account
Automatic data backup requires that you first enable the DBM module on your account. DBM is priced at 95 EUR/month just like the previous DIM module was. This allows you to setup automatic data backup via one of the 3 mentioned integration options. To have DBM enabled on your account, please contact us via email to support@flightlogger.net.
As mentioned, accounts already using the Dropbox Integration Module have been transferred to DBM and your current Dropbox backup settings have been kept. If you wish to switch to backup using one of the OneDrive options, simply stop your current Dropbox integration via your account settings, before setting up the OneDrive integration following these instructions.
If you have not previously used DIM, simply follow the same instructions linked above as soon as the module has been enabled on your account.
We hope you'll like this improved backup functionality that gives you even better options for securing your organization's data exactly how you wish. Also, we look forward to presenting even more exciting new features to you very soon, so please stay tuned :-)
