Software update - 22/03/2021 (DBM module)

Update describtion of the Data Backup Module

We owe a lot of credit to our partners for suggesting this feature that we are now adding, and we have really been looking forward to giving you this valuable addition to the DBM module.

Thanks for working together with us, and here it is:

Document center synchronization in the Data Backup Module

The thing is, many of you have expressed a wish to be able to have your FlightLogger Document center content synchronized to your Dropbox/OneDrive account. This is exactly what we have enabled with this update.

In short, you now have an additional account setting in your FlightLogger platform, allowing you to include all Document center content in your data backup. The setting is disabled as default, meaning you will have to enable it on your account to start syncing your Document center.

This is how easy you can include your Document center in your data backup, once the new update has been released:

When the setting has been enabled, all your Document center content will be synchronized over night and the next day you will have a new folder in DropBox/OneDrive called Documents, holding a one-to-one backup of your Document center. From here on, FlightLogger will automatically perform a one-way synchronization of all changes made in your document center.

The new Documents folder will show in the root of your backup folder. The below example is from OneDrive.

You can get more details on how the new Document center synchronization works in this article.

Minor improvements and bug fixes

As always, we have used the occasion to also introduce a number of minor improvements and bug fixes to keep your FlightLogger platform in the best shape.

We hope you like the new DBM feature, and we would love to receive your comments and suggestions via email to support@flightlogger.net.

Happy landings,
FlightLogger
