Here's a short introduction video showing how to set up and attach flight time limitation warnings in FlightLogger.
Introduction to setting up flight and duty time limitation warnings
Once the Flight Time Limitation Module is active on your account you can access the configuration by going into Administration -> Requirements -> Create as seen below.
From here, select either the Duty time tab or the Flight time tab.
Setting up duty time requirements
Duty time limitations can be configured with warnings in relation to duty hours within consecutive or calendar days/weeks/months/years and can provide as many warnings as necessary.
Setting up flight time requirements
Flight time requirement enables you to set minimum/maximum requirements based on the following four factors:
- block hours
- airborne hours
- flights
- landings
For flight time limitations you can also decide whether the rental and/or simulator hours should be included.
When setting up a maximum requirement (more than), you have the option to add additional warnings on the requirement.
Once the master list has been set up as desired at your flight school, you can add the requirements in the same way as you do with the certificate requirements:
Adding flight time and duty time limitations to students on a program
Add the flight time or duty time limitations requirement to the students in a program by going into Administration -> Programs -> Edit program (pencil in the right-hand side). Chose either Flight time limitation requirements or Duty time limitations requirements in the sub-tab menu and add relevant requirements from the master list.
Adding flight time and duty time limitations to renters
Access the renter requirements by the Administration -> Requirement -> Assign. Then choose either the Flight time limitation requirements tab or the Duty time limitation requirements tab - and add relevant requirements from the master list.
Adding flight time and duty time limitations to individual users
Add it to each user by entering their profile -> Settings -> Requirements. Then choose either the Flight time limitation requirements tab or the Duty time limitation requirements tab - and add relevant requirements from the master list.
